Current terminology notice, 16 September 2026: EMJ.LIFE now identifies Non-Tradable Commitment Credit (NTCC) as the current controlled term. Earlier carbon-related terminology and comparative framing are retained only as part of the historical record and should not be interpreted as the current technical or institutional definition. Institutional record

AIEDSM governs how AI systems analyse Evidence Objects admitted through the Institutional Standards Architecture. It preserves the institutional conditions that make evidence meaningful rather than treating extracted data as context-free input.

Methodology position

The Evidence Context Envelope binds analytical inputs to provenance, temporal applicability, institutional authority, purpose, permissions and claim-level traceability. Machine outputs remain inspectable against those controls.

Methodology relationship

MWP01 PADV is the sole route for participation-derived records eligible for MWP03 ISA Evidence Object admission. MWP02 NTCC is a conditional non-tradable recognition output, not a process stage. MWP04 AIEDSM governs machine analysis only after ISA governance.

Governance boundary

AI may expand analytical capacity, but it must not erase the institutional conditions that make evidence meaningful. AIEDSM does not transfer interpretive, regulatory, assurance or decision-making authority to an AI system.

Publication control

The DOI and permanent EMJ.LIFE landing page are the authoritative publication identity. The complete 129-page v1.0 PDF is retained onsite. Its SHA-256 is verified against the official EMJ.LIFE file.
