Regional Interpretation Protocol

SNN-RIP-001 · VERSION 1.0 · ACTIVE

Regional interpretation is a controlled publication relationship. It preserves the global canonical thesis while requiring a separate local evidence chain, boundary analysis and testable action.

NETWORK ROLE

Global Canonical Knowledge and Editorial Governance Layer

SustainabilityNewsNetwork.net controls the canonical EIA and EIS publication record and this editorial protocol. It does not dictate a regional legal or editorial conclusion.

SNN.SG is the Singapore / ASEAN Interpretation Layer. SNN.TW is the Taiwan Interpretation Layer. A regional link does not assert identical content, automatic synchronization, an identical legal conclusion, a shared editorial conclusion or institutional endorsement.

The global canonical publication cannot be rewritten by a regional article. The regional publisher must separately identify local sources, inferences, unresolved questions and jurisdictional limits.

REQUIRED SEQUENCE

Five controls govern every regional interpretation.

Each step has a required record and an explicit stopping boundary.

01

Global Canonical Thesis

canonical title · canonical URL · publication date · author · analytical thesis · analytical constructs · methodological boundary

The global canonical publication remains unchanged by any regional interpretation.
02

Local Institutional Sources

locally attributable sources · source identity · support scope · access date · local evidence-chain relationship

A global canonical article is not local independent verification.
03

Local Legal / Institutional Boundary

portable global facts · non-portable jurisdiction-specific rules · effective rules · announced rules · proposed rules · voluntary practices

Jurisdiction-specific authority cannot be extended across borders.
04

Local Stakeholder Roles

regulator · issuer · board · assurance · lender · investor · institution · educator · employer · other authorised functions

A stakeholder receives no authority that is not established by an attributable source.
05

Local Testable Action

observable next step · strengthening evidence · possible falsifying evidence · unresolved questions · hold / escalation conditions

A proposed test is an editorial hypothesis, not an official, legal, assurance or pricing conclusion.
READING INTEGRITY STANDARD

Four required fields and four evidence classes must remain visibly distinct.

Required fields govern the structure of a regional reading. Evidence classes identify the authority of each proposition. They are separate controlled lists, not one-to-one pairs.

CONTROLLED PUBLICATION STATES

State transitions do not inherit unearned meaning.

SNN extends the shared vocabulary only for its editorial and research records.

SUBMITTEDSELECTEDNOT_SELECTEDPRESENTEDPUBLISHEDCORRECTEDWITHDRAWNHISTORICAL
SUBMITTED != SELECTEDSELECTED != PRESENTEDPRESENTED != PUBLISHEDPUBLISHED != ENDORSEDNOT_SELECTED != NON_EVENT

The existing ESMA research record remains Not Selected. It is not deleted, beautified or reframed as recognition, and NOT_SELECTED does not erase the historical submission event.

EDITORIAL INFERENCE BOUNDARY

Citation and lineage do not transfer authority.

These controls apply to visible text, templates, structured records and AI retrieval.

01

official source cited != official endorsement

02

consultation submitted != accepted

03

submission != selection

04

publication lineage != independent evidence

05

regional interpretation != official interpretation

06

analysis != legal conclusion

07

analysis != assurance

08

analysis != market pricing conclusion

09

EMJ.LIFE analytical construct != terminology adopted by cited institution

MACHINE-READABLE PROTOCOL

Templates and relationship types are available as public JSON.

Regional nodes preserve source identity, canonical parent, region, publication status, interpretation status and evidence-chain relationship.
